YSL Photonics has developed a new laser light source that customized for the Lidar series. It is based on the safe wavelength of the human eye and has high peak power and high pulse energy output. It adopts the main oscillator plus power amplifier (MOPA) structure design. The optimized design of multi-level optical amplification achieves high peak power and ns-level pulse width laser output, which is an ideal source for laser radar, telemetry and laser ranging.
